Hello
I’m Charlene—a Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist, Yoga Alliance RYT 500 and artist. My mission is to help people move with ease, in an experience that’s full of creativity and well-being that truly sustains them.
My philosophy is rooted in real-life: awareness as a compass, movement as a conversation, yoga and meditation as threads that weave everything together. Inviting each student to follow the spark of curiosity and explore their own story.
The science meets the soul method is grounded and practical. I Integrate traditional yoga and meditation practices with evidence-based techniques—informed by current research in neuroscience, movement and therapeutics.
A fascination with the bridge between science and the subtle led me to specialize in restorative modalities, myofascial release, mobility and therapeutic work. Cultivating an environment where students feel seen, heard and respected—I hold space that is safe, playful and deeply human. Every session is tailored to the individual, emphasizing sustainable strength and balance in body and mind..
My yoga journey began more than 20 years ago while working in the fast-paced world of advertising. The contrast between a high-stress work environment and the steadiness of yoga revealed the value of contemplative practices. My mind changed, my body rearranged. Yoga carried me through stress, injury, joy, loss and everything in between—and ultimately inspired me to share these tools with others.
Also, I have 2 BFAs; fine art & visual communication. The natural path unfolded—merging all these ideas so they’re not just interesting, but useful. I’m developing classes and workshops that make yoga, meditation and creativity usable tools that are relevant to real life.
Recently I attended a yoga class with a respected well loved teacher. Quietly she commented to me that my practice looked easy, beautiful & strong. I burst out laughing while Choking back tears.
Why?
I always saw myself, as clunky and clumsy AF! Because I used to be in a lot of pain—with a tight stiff body and mobility issues and a fidgety, ruminating mindset.
Now I feel so different—quiet, light, focused and grounded. This intuitive path, a science meets the soul approach makes feel like the real me.
What if you could feel that too?
